The RFP Manager feature in the Transfix Shipper App will allow shippers to communicate all of their RFP requirements to you through a series of emails.

These emails contain links that will give you access to view and bid on the RFP. You'll have the opportunity to view the RFP details ahead of time, as well as to include a brief note to the shipper regarding your bid for each lane.

STEP 1:

As soon as a shipper decides to add you to their new RFP, you'll receive an email containing the lane information, contract dates and when the shipper will be accepting bids. The shipper may also include an attachment with additional details and will look like this:

STEP 2:

Shortly before the bidding is scheduled to start, you'll receive another email as a reminder:

Click the View RFP Details button in the email message to access the RFP, then select the RFP Bid Table tab for a preview of the lane information and estimated volume:

STEP 3:

You'll be advised that the bidding has started on the RFP. Click Submit Your Rates to access the RFP again:

On the RFP Bid Table tab, enter your bids on the corresponding lanes and add a note to the shipper if needed. Click Submit Rates when finished.

Please note: once you submit your rates they cannot be edited for this RFP.

A confirmation email will be sent once you enter your bids. Click View RFP Details for a recap of your bids:

STEP 4:

If a shipper accepts your bid, you'll receive an email notification that includes a summary of the contracted rate. If you do not receive this confirmation, you were not awarded this lane.

You'll be advised via email when shipments are tendered to you. For more information on that process please refer to our carrier guide.
