Temporarily Deactivating a Carrier

Carriers can now be temporarily deactivated instead of permanently removed from a Carrier Network. Navigate to your Carrier Network tab and click on the overflow menu next to the carrier, then select "Deactivate Carrier”:

Deactivating a carrier will remove them from your Routing Guide and will prevent them from being available for any future shipments, but they'll still be listed in your network and their metrics will still be available in the Shipper App.

An "Activate" option will be available in the overflow menu for deactivated carriers, but reactivating a carrier will not automatically reinstate their contracted rates. Also, carriers will not be notified if they are deactivated or reactivated.

If a carrier is removed or deactivated while a shipment is already tendered to them, they will still be able to complete the shipment but can be manually removed if necessary.
