Final Steps for a P44 API Connection

This document is for carriers who already have an API connected project44 account.

1. Connection: You are receiving this document because your customer utilizes Transfix TMS. Because of this, we request that you add Transfix as a customer who can view your tracking updates via P44 (instead of adding your customer directly). We will port these updates into your customer’s TMS.

  1. Transfix’s project44 ID# is USTRANBF

  2. Once you have added Transfix, please let our team know at shipper-support@transfix.io, so that our engineers can initialize this connection on our end.

2. Unique Identifiers: We utilize the unique identifiers:

  1. Shipment ID (follows format ABC-######)

  2. BOL#

These are the numbers you would include in the shipment data you send to project44 when passing updates. We’ve included a tender acceptance example that will show you where these numbers are captured.

Once you’ve finished these steps, the connection process should be complete and your shipments will be live tracking in your customer’s TMS. Please direct any questions to your customer contact and to shipper-support@transfix.io. Thanks!
