FMS - Transfix Mobile App: How to set up tracking via the app and self-update

Set-up instructions:

Download the app: iOs | Android

  1. Open the Transfix app


    2. Open the Transfix app and enter your cell # for a 4-number verification code that will be text messaged to your phone number

    3. Enter the 4-digit verification code on the app and click 'Continue'.

    4.Allow 'Transfix to use your location?' will pop up and click "Allow while Using App"

    5. Click "Change to Always Allow"

    6. Allow Push Notifications so you'll never miss a load or offer!

    7. Allow Access location may appear:

    For Android: Tap “always on when using” and then “always on”


    iOS: If Driver have bypass these and did not setup the tracking correctly the first time, they can easily go to their phone settings:

    Go to Setting > Privacy & Security > Locations Services

    Look for Transfix

    Select 'Always' on Allow Location Access

How to Self-update:

Note: All updates must be done manually by the driver. We will not be able to receive the driver's check-in and check-out updates unless they open the app and manually check in and check out.

  1. Open the TRANSFIX app

  2. Tap on “My Loads” on the bottom

  3. Tap on the current load you are on and tap on the green status button to check in, and check out.

Note: If the driver is checking off that his trailer is empty, they will see the check-in button that says "I am leaving for pick-up" followed by a question asking if his trailer is empty.

Once updated, the status check-in button will change to "I have arrived" where the driver can check in once he has checked in at the shipper.
